What To Wear

Dressing never goes out of travel, culture, way of life...

Following the Iranian dress code is a new experience for the Iran travelers. It may seem strange and weird in the beginning and causes some questions for you; but the experienced travelers welcome different dressing style of traveling destinations. 

Women

A modest type of clothes for women traveling to Iran can be a long sleeve blouse with a long pair of loose pants or jeans or a long skirt in any color or model. Wearing sandals is normal and acceptable. Having scarf is must. Wearing manteau, magne or chador is NOT needed at all for foreign travelers.

Men

Men can wear all types of regular clothes except short pants. T-shirts are acceptable but the upper arms should not be bare.
