Day 1

Arrive in Tehran, the capital

Arrival in Tehran. Welcome by our agent and transfer to the hotel.

Tehran City tour

You will see three to four highlighted museums in Tehran such as the National Museum of Iran which is the combination of two museums, the old Muze-ye Irân-e Bâstân (Archaeological Museum of Iran), and the modernistic white travertine National Arts Museum ("Mūze-i Honar-i Millī"); Golestan Palace meaning the Palace of flowers in Farsi; Carpet Museum to see one of the most distinguished manifestation of Iranian culture and art. Visit to Jewelry Museum, one of the most fascinating museums in the world and finally surf among Iranians in Tehran big old bazaar.

Day 3

Tehran to Kashan by road (249 km)

After a refreshing breakfast at hotel, visit to Sa'adabad Palace built by the Pahlavi Dynasty of Iran in the Shemiran area of Tehran. The complex was first inhabited by Qajar monarchs and royal family in the 19th century. Continue driving to Kashan. Visit to the old houses of Kashan and Archeological discoveries in the Sialk Hill, which lie 4 km west of Kashan, reveals that this region was one of the primary centers of civilization in pre-historic ages.

Kashan to Abyaneh (40 km) to Isfahan (218 km)

Continue driving to Tehran in the morning, you will have a short visit to Abyaneh Village en route. In Isfahan, you will visit the nice Si-o-se pol bridge which means 33 Bridge and it consists of two rows of 33 arches. Also you surf Khaju Bridge across the Zayandehrud (Zayandeh Rood River) serving as both bridge and dam.

Isfahan City Tour

Isfahan retains the past glory and famous Islamic architecture. You will have the excursion to the Naqshe Jahan Sq. (UNESCO world heritage) that is the second biggest city squares in the world and the other historical monuments of Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque in the East of the square, built by the purpose of private mosque of Royal court. In the south side of the square visit to Imam Mosque, formerly called Shah Mosque. Opposite to Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque is a grand palace called Ali Qapu Palace. It is forty-eight meters high and there are seven floors, each accessible by a difficult spiral staircase. The tour ends by shopping in the bazaar of Isfahan, which is one of the oldest and largest bazaars in the Middle East.

Isfahan City Tour

Today you learn more in Isfahan. Excursion to Chehel Sotoun Palace which means the Forty Columns although there are only twenty columns of Cypress wood! Vank Cathedral in the Armenian Part of Isfahan (Julfa) is decorated with wall paintings, tile work and also tableaus depicting the life of Jesus Christ. The evening is at your leisure.

Isfahan to Yazd by road (314 km)

Drive toward the city of Yazd, en route you will see Nain; it has one of the earliest remaining mosques in Iran, Jame Mosque. After driving more 120 km, stop at Meybod to find out Narin Qa'leh, Shah Abbas Caravanserai, Meybod Dovecote or Pigeon Tower, Meybod Chapar Khaneh.  Meybod's history goes back to pre-Islamic arena. Rest in Yazd.

Yazd City Tour

A guided sightseeing, the pearl of the desert, Yazd including the visit to the Amir Chakhmaq Complex, Dakhma or Tower of Silence which is a circular, raised structure used by Zoroastrian for exposure of the dead. Fire Temple to see the picture of eagle with widespread wings: the symbol of Ahura Mazda and inside the symbol of living Iran: the everlasting flame. Dowlatabad nice garden, the traditional Persian architecture device called “Badgir” in the old part of the city.

 You will spend the night in a very beautiful Caravanserai close to Yazd called Zeinoddin Caravanserai.

Day 9

Yazd to Shiraz by road (440 km)

It is time to hit the road but with some stops in Abarkuh to see the Sarv-e Abarkuh or Cypress of Abarkuh called also Zoroastrian Sarv with a height of 25 meters and 11.5 meters at its trunk. The next stop is at UNESCO world heritage of Pasargadae 118 km before the city of Shiraz. Describing Pasargadae and Persepolis in few sentences is nothing, you are highly recommended to visit them in person and learn of their history. Rest at Shiraz hotel.

Shiraz City Tour

In the city of poets and poetry, you will have the walking tour to beautiful Nasir-ol-Molk (Pink) Mosque, the Arg-e-Karim Khan built in Zand Dynasty. Shopping and visit Vakil old bazaar and Saraye Moshir with its courtyards, Caravanserais, bathhouses and old shops.  Narenjestan Palace, Shah Cheraq Shrine to see the Muslims praying. In the evening, you have poets' tour to the tombs of Hafez and Saadi, the Persian poets, the memorial structure and the nice gardens.

Day 11

Persepolis excursion, flight to Tehran

Visit to the great Persepolis that is registered as the UNESCO world heritage and was the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire. And also Naqsh-E rostam (Necropolis). It is located 70 km northeast of modern city of Shiraz. In contemporary Persian, the site is known as Takht-e Jamshid (Throne of Jamshid), flight back to the Capital, Tehran. Transfer to the hotel or IKA airport based on your flight schedule.
